Prayer Mat is an Islamic prayer tracking app. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data. Prayer Mat operates entirely on your device. No data is sent to any server, third party, or cloud service.

Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

• Prayer completion logs — which prayers you mark as completed and when
• App settings — your chosen city, calculation method, madhab, and notification preferences
• Location coordinates — if you choose to use GPS detection, your coordinates are stored locally to calculate prayer times. They are never transmitted.

Location Data

Prayer Mat may request access to your device's location to calculate accurate prayer times. This is optional — you can manually select a city instead. If granted, your location is used solely on-device for prayer time calculation and is never shared externally.

Notifications

Prayer Mat may send local notifications to remind you of prayer times. These are scheduled entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to any external service.

Third-Party Services

Prayer Mat does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

Prayer Mat does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app does not require account creation or any personal information.

If we update this privacy policy, the changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
